    Invaluable. My 10yr old is always on the move, always hungry and inevitably tired! Just having some ideas on how to get the right food in him at the right time is a life-saver. I’ve already tried some of the post training snacks & meals and they’ve been a hit. The symbols against each snack/meal really helps.

    Great book. I can’t recommend this book enough to any parents with mini athletes.
    I have a little swimmer that trains 8.5 a week. She eats very well but she began loosing weight, because she didn’t eat the right calories or enough calories, she felt exhausted at the end of the day. I bought the book, it’s been about 3 weeks now and we are starting to see the changes, I am so happy. I know a lot of about nutrition but I needed to learn how to apply it into my child diet.

    Great recipe options. Great book with lots of information around training & nutrition requirements which I’ve found helpful. The recipes look great & we’ve tried a few already that went down really well. I feel like I’m not stuck for ideas when it comes to meal planning or just looking for something different to cook.
    We’re looking forward to trying all the recipes out. The only issue I had was with the Prep times for recipes. I found it takes me longer than 5 minutes to prep time for certain recipes (e.g banana muffins). It doesn’t make a big difference to me but I feel it might be a bit misleading to other parents who might think a recipe needs only 35 minutes but it could actually take you 45 minutes instead, especially if you’re pressed for time & get your planning wrong.

    Brilliantly balanced and perfect for busy lives. We’re a busy working family with daughters taking part in activities such as swimming, dance and hockey. These recipes are easy to fit into a busy lifestyle and the variety of tasty “food to go” options offer a practical approach to preparing the food they need, when it’s needed. The individual case studies are an inspiring addition too. I’m so pleased I discovered this!
