Great Book!
I can’t recommend this book enough to any parents with mini athletes. I have a little swimmer that trains 8.5 a week. She eats very well but she began loosing weight, because she didn’t eat the right calories or enough calories, she felt exhausted at the end of the day. I bought the book, it’s been about 3 weeks now and we are starting to see the changes, I am so happy. I know a lot of about nutrition but I needed to learn how to apply it into my child diet.

A great introduction to understanding sport’s nutrition
An all round great experience. Kate explained why nutrition was so important to my sons development and enjoyment of his sport (rugby). He took onboard her tips and really enjoyed the cooking element. He felt confident knowing he, as a 13 year old, could make a few dishes that can fuel his body appropriately. It’s a great foundation to taking care of his own sport’s nutrition in adult life.
