If you’re looking for a simple, delicious snack that delivers great taste, steady energy and minimal kitchen effort, these zingy Raspberry & Cacao Enerjoy! Balls are hard to beat. Read on to find out how to make these Raspberry & Cacao Enerjoy! Balls – they are so great for fuelling exams, sport and busy family life…

Some of you may recognise them from my Kate Percy’s Go Bites days, where they were known as Raspberry & Cacao Go Bites. They were one of our most popular flavours, and after years of requests, I’ve included the recipe in my new book, Enerjoy! for Active Families.

Made with just a handful of wholesome ingredients including dates, raisins, nuts, oats, cacao and freeze-dried raspberries, these little raspberry and cacao energy balls are naturally sweet, packed with flavour and incredibly satisfying. They’re rich in fibre, contain plant-based protein and healthy fats, and provide a steady source of energy without the need for refined sugar.

They’re perfect for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, pre-sport fuel, exam revision sessions or simply those moments when you need a nourishing pick-me-up during a busy day.

One of the things I love most about this recipe is how quick and easy it is to make. Simply blitz the ingredients together, roll into balls and they’re ready to enjoy. They also keep well in an airtight container, making them ideal for batch-prepping ahead of a busy week.

I find it easiest to buy my freeze-dried fruit on amazon – try this link here – it keeps well as long as you seal it up properly after each use. It’s amazing stuff! Adds a real zing to your desserts and snacks 🙂

Whether you’re feeding active children, supporting growing teenagers or simply looking for a healthier homemade snack, these Raspberry & Cacao Enerjoy! Balls are guaranteed to become a family favourite.

Enjoy!
